About

The gap between
stated values and
lived culture
is a design problem.

Cultural Bridge Strategies designs the systems, partnerships, and cultural frameworks that build the infrastructure between what organizations say they value and how they actually operate.

Most organizations have a gap between their stated commitments — to equity, to innovation, to their people — and their actual workflows, partnerships, and internal culture. That gap is not a values problem. It is a structural one.

CBS works with cultural institutions, organizational leaders, and executive teams to excavate that gap, design the architecture to close it, and activate the conditions that make values operational rather than aspirational.

Founded by Sirita Wright — cultural strategist, organizational designer, and creator of the Protection-Centered Management Framework.

Methodology

The CBS Approach

Every engagement runs through three phases. The depth of each phase is calibrated to the organization's specific gap — no two engagements are identical.

I
Excavation

Surface the gap between stated values and operational reality. Map where the disconnect lives — in systems, in partnerships, in the sensory and cultural conditions of the organization itself.

II
Architecture

Design the structural interventions. Systems. Frameworks. Partnership infrastructure. The scaffolding that makes the values a lived experience rather than a mission statement.

III
Activation

Move from design to operation. Launch, embed, and sustain. Build the internal capacity to hold the infrastructure after CBS leaves the room.

Program Design & Launch

Open Roads: Maryland's Mobile Cannabis B2B Exchange

Conceived, designed, and led the execution of the first-in-the-nation mobile B2B cannabis exchange — connecting social equity licensees with institutional buyers, distributors, and capital partners via a multi-stop bus tour. Inaugural event launched May 2026, hosted by Maryland Cabinet Secretary.

Luxury Market Entry

Lexus Multi-Market Campaign

As part of the Black Enterprise anchor team, directed city selection, cast influencer participation, and defined the audience profile for a Lexus campaign across three markets, moving a luxury brand into communities it had never prioritized. Hosted the campaign across all three markets.

Fashion Production

TIWIMUTA & Andre Walker Studio

Two years of production support, contributor coordination, and editorial logistics for TIWIMUTA, Andre Walker's annual art and fashion publication, alongside styling assistant work across his Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, and Alfred Dunhill collections. Credited as styling assistant on the Que F/W 2010 promotional film and the Ikou Tschuss S/S 2011 lookbook, shot by artist Urs Fischer.

Organizational Systems

Enterprise Systems Rollout

Led the adoption and full implementation of a comprehensive project management platform, architecting workflow for newsletter production, technical assistance programs, event communications, and coordination across an eight-person team.

Communications Architecture

Bud Bulletin Newsletter

Built and sustained a stakeholder communications infrastructure with 2,100+ active subscribers and a 44.75% average open rate — more than double the government communications benchmark of 20–25%.

Original Framework

Protection-Centered Management

PCM is a structural assessment framework that diagnoses and corrects the conditions that extract disproportionate labor from high-burden employees. Not a wellness initiative. Not a DEI training program. A diagnostic instrument with four modules and a RAG scoring system across six organizational categories.

Presented at Washington National Cathedral, April 2026. Serialized in Cash Color Cannabis. A Maryland Governor's Proclamation designating October 1, 2026 as PCM Day is currently in progress.

Eyes Burden Mapping

Where is the organization asking too much of too few? Who carries the invisible weight?

Heart Structural Welcome

Does the environment signal belonging or surveillance? What does the room ask of the body?

Soul Organizational Resilience

What is the organization's capacity to absorb stress without extracting it from its people?

Senses Sensory Architecture

The physical and sensory conditions of a space are infrastructure. They are already making decisions about your people.
